Way to waste all of your bubbles.

You know, this isn't the first time I'll seen this lame argument. And every time, it's always "ultra violent" or shooter games that are supposed to be considered "mature" or non kiddy. That doesn't sound like something a mature person or gamer (especially a veteran) would say. You seem like one of those gamers who would, at the first glance, call a game like Tales of Symphonia 'kiddy' because it col...

If that was ever was the case, they wouln't have released or be bothering with games such as the Fire Emblem franchise (and it's upcoming collaboration with Shin Megami), Xenoblade (along with X), Bayonetta 2, etc. Consider it spoiled.

Hell, even the latest Zelda's prologue that told of the Ancient Battle wasn't all that "kiddie friendly".... nor was Demise's story or Ghirahim himself.

No, Nintendo appeals and caters to everyone, especially gamers. That is why many of their games are consistently well-received, and yes, by adults. That is why some of their games, despite seeming to only appeal to children, can be enjoyed by even older/experienced gamers for their quality. That is why some of their games remain near-to-full retail price long after launch. That is why they have and still are collaborating with other developers to get great and unique titles to their platforms...

Agreed.

However, I don't think it's meant for anyone other than kids and those still uncertain about the whole 3D concept.

In my opinion, It should have came out a long time ago.

To Dcj0524:
The problem with the 3ds is it's lack of the more recent fighters. So the comparison isn't fair to begin with.

But for the sake of the argument, let's look at what's out so far.

3DS:
Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition - 0.94m
Dead or Alive: Dimensions - 0.29m
Tekken 3D: Prime Edition - 0.12m
BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II - 0.9m

Vita:
Mortal Kombat - 0.34m

Honestly don't see it as a wise decision to just flat-out cancel the 3DS version. It just isn't.

Would being available on both be so bad?

"but then it becomes more and more like work."

Yes. The Great Maze killed it for me in the ending.

Hopefully the first will be successful enough to warrant future projects.

Can't say I know for sure about all the details. But I believe the touchscreen allows you to play the game just using the stylus....? It's for newcomers, I think.

I guess it's the Wii U's version of the automatic-play option (Immortal Marionette accessory) that was in the lower difficulties of the first game.

I had always thought to myself, since the very first time I fought Jeanne, that it wouldn't make a bad fighting game.... With a little balancing of course. Moon of Mahaa-Kalaa should be part of a perry system too.
